Research the principle's actual qualifications it's very questionable.
The principal Mrs Krol, is trying. She's a no nonsense lady but they probably don't give her the tools to succeed.
Go to St Cyrills, it's a better church neighborhood with more reasonable families and every teacher has been there at least 5 years.
Three different math teachers came and went within one year.
This place is not somewhere where you want to send your kids. The nickel and dime game, the teachers with no experience (and I'm sure are paid terrible) the priest constantly taking money from the school and using it for the church.
One year they didn't have a math teacher for a month or so AND DIDN'T TELL US PARENTS. Amazing right?
Fast forward to today, I want to send my kid here and they tell me I have to pay for and take a course on not touching kids. Seriously?
The school should be investigated by the NYS Dept of education.
I sent my kid here for 4 years. The teaching staff was a revolving door. They all seemed to be 1st year teachers who couldn't control their classes. At parent teacher conferences I got thanked for "not yelling at them" as in the teachers...
I've been at this school for 3 full years and let me just say that this school is horrible! The teachers don't know how to teach, they're all lazy. and bully kids. I hope they read this so they may learn how horrible they are at taking care of their own school. If someone can steal from your church 3 different times then you're just putting kids in danger! Everyday I went there I had to fake a smile and was going through some kind of depression! Everyday I wanted to disappear but now I'm happy because I know I NEVER have to go to that school ever again. If you love your kids and your money don't go here. It's a waste of both.
I ended up having to send my kid to Huntington Learning Center to go over EVEYRTHING from 1st to 4th grade again. That was a 6 thousand dollar bill. Honestly I really regret sending my kid herr.
All the negative reviews here and all other rating sites are accurate been here for 5 years and will be leaving.
Ask about the yearly teacher turnover.

Every year we would receive an email before the school year started 'oh we don't have a ______ teacher yet, but we doing Skype interviews with people down in ______" half of my high school class went to school to be teachers. But here they have to go out of the country to find them?
They harbor a child molester here, Father Mike, for years when I was a kid. He was then sent to south America and got away with it.
Please research everything before enrolling your child here, contact nearby catholic schools and see how many kids transfer every year from OLL.
