My 15 year old dog Bella had a sudden health decline over the weekend. We brought her in for a check up and found out she unfortunately has congestive heart failure. They were able to drain the fluid from her lungs, get her in an oxygen chamber where she was able to recover. I'm happy to say her health is restored and she's coming home today. Without VMC we would have lost her the other day. Thanks again Dan/Andrew!
My 2 dogs were treated at VMCLI. They received wonderful, kind and compassionate care. My poodle had tripped, fallen and hurt her back. With the correct treatment of meds and crate rest she was better in a month. That's a long time to heal for a dog but she was back to normal and she's doing great. My daschund had a horrific allergic reaction to something he shouldn't have eaten at 11pm Sunday night. We were there and by 2am he was better and home we went. What a relief to know where to go "after hours". I highly recommend this facility.
We brought our baby here with a fever, trembling at 8:30pm on a Thursday night and we didn’t get into a room til 10pm Wait time was outrageous! Then didn’t see a dr til 11:45pm only to find out that nothing would be done until entire bill was paid in full! Still waiting at 1:30am and still not a word to find out what is going on with our baby! When we went to pay the PERSON behind the desk was very rude and had a really bad attitude! I’m sorry you are not happy with your job but you don’t have to take it out on your customers! I will never come here again nor will refer this place to anyone! If you really love your kids/pets don’t come here it’s a waste of time and money!!!!
Do not make the same mistake we made!!
The costs are astronomical. They overcharge people who are vulnerable and prey on their weakness to save their pet. This was also edited to reflect the treatment of the hospital manager, she refused to give my elderly father a senior citizen discount, retired and on a fixed income the costs that he is now burdened with will always be remembered.
I wish I read the reviews before coming here. Seriously avoid at ALL costs. I will never ever go here again. I brought my cat in who was not eating and was very upset at the way they up-sold us and pushed for payment. I was not even able to be with my cat throughout this entire process, therefore I have no clue if these tests were even performed or if they were even necessary. Every vet I have been to in the past allowed me to be in the room with him for comfort and I prefer to be informed every step of the way. To make matters worse, they tried to push a $3,000 surgery on us to be performed the next day and made it clear that payment must be submitted first. Sorry, not everyone can make such a rash decision on surgery UNLESS its a dire emergency. We went to our local vet and got quoted for a third of the price! We wasted about $200 on an EKG that they claimed they were "waiting on the blood results for" but went ahead and did it anyway and just charged us for it. I do not doubt their abilities, but I do doubt the need for unnecessary tests and outrageous prices!
